Make Money by Making a Life as Mother Teresa Did

Many people forget business is a way of service. When you serve others, you make a life instead of making a living. Jesus said he came to serve others in his Father’s business. I am not religious, but it is very important to understand the point. If you think of business as a spiritual event, you are co-creating with the Universe. That is to say, it is an opportunity to make this world a better place to live.

Mother Teresa is a wonderful example of someone who lived life fully by serving others. She helped those in need through her acts of kindness and love. Through her hard work and living her life as a child of God, others were able to make their dreams come true. Serving others is between you and God, not between you and them. God is in charge and through him you will find serenity and happiness.

As regards Mother Teresa, I am hesitant to talk about her and money at the same time. According to polls, Mother Teresa is the most respected woman in the world. By the way, it is unpleasant how several websites talk about her as someone with pecuniary interests. The most reliable reports we have about her confirm she never promotes fundraising. Nevertheless, I beg your permission to talk about her example.

Money is energy. When you find your purpose in life and practice it, you create positive energy, abundant energy. One component to prove you have found your purpose in life is when part of your mission is serving humanity. As soon as you fulfill this purpose, abundance surrounds you.

Mother Teresa is not excluded from this example. She won seven awards and prizes, but she always behaved according to her mission in life. Excuse me for saying this, but she could have taken a pleasure trip, a worldwide vacation. Instead, she said, “I see God in every human being.” And all the money she received from the awards and prizes went to her centers, which devoted all their energy towards helping treat the blind, lepers, the dying, the disabled, and the aged.

I dare to use Mother Teresa’s work as an example because it is real. When your main purpose is to fulfill your mission in life, money inevitably comes into your life because money is energy, and you are generating plenty of energy. Of course, your mission might not be to help the sick, the poor, and the dying.

Mother Theresa said, “It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.” But one thing is true: when you find your passion and intentionally fulfill your purpose in life, you will generate enough energy to attract anything into your life. This includes money, too.

When you really do what you love, you will enjoy life with abundance. And you will be able to help others with love. Learn to find your purpose in life, and do what you love. You will start making a life instead of a living. You will never work again because when you do what you love, you fulfill the noble mission of serving others too. Everything will be given to you, and you will not need to seek the approval of others. You will want to work to serve them.

Mother Teresa said, “If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway. The good you do today, people will forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the world the best you’ve got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.”

You make a living by intensively serving others. You can do this through your business. Anything you do to make a living is a business. Even a spiritual group is a business. Jesus said he came to work in his Father’s business. Therefore, money is definitely spiritual.

Find your mission in life as Mother Teresa did and you will attract huge amounts of money into your life. You will make a living (that is, money) by serving others (that is, making a life). The pleasure of the material things will be a part of your spiritual reward.

Marketing Virus – Every Writer Needs to Catch It

For you writers aspiring to greatness, you might need a virus, before you can be great! You need a Marketing Virus. Every unknown writer needs a virus that will spread like the deadliest bug known to man.

So how do you get this virus, and how do you make it work? Simple, the virus comes with marketing – the kind of marketing that you need to do yourself. You can’t rely on publishers or publicists. If you are an unknown or if you work with a small, independent publisher, as I did with my first novel, The League, you will need to carry much of the workload in getting your name and your product recognized. Here are a few tips to create a marketing virus that will get your name and your book to spread like a wildfire.

Use the Internet. It might seem obvious, but most writers are not making the best use of the most powerful marketing tool in the world. Get a website with your name and your work. Keep it very simple. A picture of your book or books and a professional picture of the writer – you. You’ll need a synopsis page and a page for reviews and quotes from others on how wonderful your book is.

Get your site noticed. This is the most challenging piece of marketing you’ll have to do. Driving traffic to a website is an incredibly delicate matter. Anyone who suggests it’s easy is lying. It takes time and work. Get your website URL on as many things as possible. Put it on business cards, and hand them to everyone. Put it on brochures, magnets and e-mail signatures. Get it on search engines, and spend a little money on a professional who can optimize your site for those engines.

Another tip that might seem obvious is to market your writing to magazines, newspapers ad electronic media. The greatest free advertising in the world is the radio or television interview. There are thousands of talk radio stations just dying for quality guests. You could pay a publicist thousands of dollars to book interviews for you, or you could do it yourself. Just get numbers of producers, work on a 30 second pitch as to why your book will interest readers and get on the phone. You’ll be amazed at how many people will book you on the first try. Then tens of thousands of people will hear you, they’ll tell their friends and family, and the marketing virus will begin.

Do It More Often (Exercise, Silly!)

Many people want you to believe that you should be working out for 30 minutes a day, all 7 days of the week. It’s just how the information has trickled down to us.

Personally, I think this is for robots.

You don’t need to workout that much to feel better and have more energy.

In fact, fitness success hinges on your ability to forget working out for a certain period of time. No more 5 times a week for 60 minutes or 3 times a week for 90 minutes. What you need to focus on is working out frequently throughout the week.

This may seem groundbreaking to you… and it is.

I want exercise to be a regular part of your day. Just like eating, showering and sleeping.

It was like this for those as little as a century ago. They would exercise all day long. Walk to the store, do the laundry, work in the field, the factory–most of this work was labor. No one really ever went to the gym and worked out for hours on end.

Unfortunately, those times have passed. We have computers, office buildings and cars. Plus, we seem to think that we have certain time restraints and commitments that don’t allow us the time to exercise. Which is another issue in itself!

So, yes, you’re busy. That’s fine. But I bet there are times when you could sneak in a few squats, stretches and dips. In fact, there are probably 10-15 times during that day that you can.

What I’m asking you to do is equate those down times as an opportunity to squeeze in an exercise or two. By the end of the day, you’ll feel great knowing that you’ve put in a good amount of time exercising. Time that you thought you never had!

Will you still burn fat exercising this way? You bet! Your frequent motion will allow your body to up its metabolism, burning calories faster so you can lose weight.

Having the freedom to know that you can exercise in small clips will help erase your chances of failure and get you feeling great in no time!

Self-contentment Leads to Confidence

Being self-content means accepting and acknowledging who you are at your core and becoming satisfied — maybe not perfect, but satisfied — in all areas of your life. When you learn to better understand, better appreciate and eventually love yourself, you exude a quiet confidence that will open doors to what you want in life.

One way to develop a strong sense of self-contentment is to give yourself the gift of self-appreciation. Offer yourself the same respect and kindness you give to others you care deeply for. In doing so, you will feel more at peace with yourself, be strong in your convictions and easily stand up for yourself. Here are three ways to support you in becoming more confident.

1. Silence Your Inner Critic
Many women have a tendency to focus on what is “wrong” about themselves rather than what is “right.” We tend to pick out and pick on the parts of ourselves we like the least. This disapproving inner critic (that little voice inside our head that points our faults and undermines our achievements) needs to be silenced. Instead of focusing on what you don’t like about yourself, do your best to acknowledge and appreciate what makes you unique. Your smile. Your sense of humor. Your eyes. Now go further. What qualities define you as a person? Resist the temptation to criticize yourself. This is a learned behavior and it can be unlearned with intentional action.

2. Surround Yourself with Positive Environments
In order to remain confident or regain confidence, you have to ensure that you surround yourself with positive environments – emotionally and physically. This means cultivating friendships that enrich your life. A well-meaning friend that consistently points out your faults may be undermining your sense of self. Seek out people who care about you and can list all your lovely qualities instead. Fill your personal space with objects that inspire you, such as pictures of loved ones, keepsakes and favorite books.

3. Acknowledge Your Achievements
Like most women, you may have been brought up not to be boastful. However, there is a distinction between bragging and not recognizing your accomplishments and contributions. We have all achieved things in our lives, both big and small, personally and professionally. But oftentimes, we cross that achievement off our “to-do” list and quickly move to the next item, with little or no celebration. When you give yourself permission to feel positive about your accomplishments and refuse to listen to your inner critic, you will feel pleased within yourself. You will proudly share your wins, rather than apologize for them. You might even amaze yourself when triumphal works such as “I am one awesome lawyer,” “I am the best mother ever,” or “I rock” roll off your tongue with hardly at thought.

Watch out universe, here you come!

Inexpensive PCs as CNC Machine Controllers

Part I, Utilizing an off the shelf PC as a CNC Controller

There are two main groups that can take advantage of today’s low cost PCs as an effective and inexpensive CNC controller.

• Retrofits to existing CNC machines with outdated or proprietary controls in need of service.

• Shop built and home built CNC machines.

Inexpensive PCs can cost as little as $150.00 and yet provide a dependable and effective CNC machine controller. Some sources to consider for obtaining such a system are outpost.com and dell.com. Oupost.com is an outlet for Fry’s electronics. They have one PC on sale ranging from $150.00 to $199.00. Several have successfully used this PC in conjunction with MACH2 CNC controller software.

Tradeoffs: Price vs. Quality. With the lowest cost PCs there a tradeoff in performance, quality, and reliability. The manufacturers of these machines use low cost hardware in their manufacture and they make compromises in the design of the systems to keep their costs down. Inexpensive hardware translates directly to a higher failure rate and more difficult to obtain manufacturer support. This can be a deciding factor by itself if you rely on this machine for production.

Design compromises which are common in low cost PC have an impact on performance. The primary concerns are: insufficient memory, the use of shared memory, and on-board graphics devices. The primary hardware requirements for a PC based CNC controller are sufficient memory, and sufficient processor speed. You can see that the compromises present in these systems are in direct opposition to the requirements for CNC controller.

At the bottom end of the Inexpensive PC market there are off the self solutions that will function well as a PC based CNC controller. As with all things, you tend to get what you pay for, so the buyer is advised to be aware of the requirements and limitations that are in play.

Part II in this series of articles will examine an alternative to buying an off the shelf solution and explore building a PC to meet your specifications.

Try a Big Dildo for an Awesome Orgasm with your Mistress

Some blokes have a difficult time keeping a hard on and some gals have awfully long sex drives, meaning it will take the woman an incredibly long time to come. Because of this difference in sex drives, sexual intercourse will turn into a frustrating and undesirable session. That’s why slim dildos could be helpful. If the man ejaculates early in the session, or even if the chick just takes longer than her man, he can continue to penetrate the lady with the vibrating dildo. That way all sexual mischief doesn’t stop. It gives the male time to recharge his batteries and also helps the lady aroused. So when the male is all set to come back into the session, the female will still be aroused enough to accept the boy. Sex Toys, discreet and a wonderful orgasm machine!

Your very most stimulation zone is your brain. And as significantly as numerous feminists won’t admit this, the penis is an ancient symbol of fertility, no matter how big or little, it is still associated with fertility. Penetrating your lady with a dildo might well make a fantasy of power mischief reality.

Some girls enjoy the sensation of feeling full in their vagina or back passage. Whenever a marital aid such as a huge dildo, penetrates the vagina or bottom, the muscles contract around it. Legions of girls see the tightening of the above muscles to be astonishingly enjoyable.

Property Index – a Great International Property Website

There are a range of properties in Spain for sale on Property Index, from villas to apartments.

Although Property Index is generally viewed as a newcomer business, (they were established in March 2007), they have quickly advanced to expert status. They are a extremely cool business specializing in offering instruction to any person who is designing to let estate across the globe. Their assurance: to be of help to you to determine precisely what you are looking for very quickly as well as unproblematically. Estate can be bought all over the world today, one of the hippest areas being properties on the market in Spain. It should really be no effort to pinpoint all the mega cool estate on the market in Spain, the explanation for looking for land here is the houses and apartments for sale and the option of spending your life amongst this exciting, eager and robust populace.

It is one of the truly favored property markets today, and in view of the lovely landscape and the agreeable weather surrounding you, how could you ever be wrong. Estate in Spain is steeped in history, art and culture, this region has long been home to many indigenous civilizations. About 20 years ago you would find just a small number of English who are looking for estate in Spain. Just ask any individual who has chosen to remove to Spain and they’ll certainly back this up. Some people would describe it as a fashion and others describe it as a as something approaching a compulsion… People who are looking to move to this region extend from yuppies keen on a bit of a new perspective to the retired looking to have fun in life.

Bear in mind, though, that you may have to deal with obstructions when buying estate abroad — there are normally hundreds of steps to ponder when plotting, calling in or purchasing. If you miss out on one single minute step it can generate comprehensive obstructions plus, of course, most importantly, loss in financial terms. Obviously, as is to be presumed with this well-liked destination, estate may be rather dear in this place and that’s plainly due to the high market pressure. Nonetheless real estate buyers are patently a bit spoilt in terms of choice in a destination so great in terms of merry land and scenery. Doubtlessly it’s got the whole ball of wax just about anyone could feasibly want, and more.

Travel Italy – Highlights of Italian Art and Architecture

Every year millions of visitors trek through Italy in search of ancient culture, great food, art, architecture, and more. The allure is immediate even to those who have never been.

There is more art and architecture to see in Italy than one person could possibly
experience in a lifetime. Rome, Florence, and Venice alone offer an unending array
of design excursions. Highlighted here are some of the must see designs of both
ancient and modern Italy. Talk a trip, bring a sketch book, and see the gorgeous art
and design that is synonymous with Italian life.

The Coliseum – An architectural marvel, the coliseum was built beginning
in 72 A.M. Originally used as a source of entertainment (usually forced barbaric
combat) the Coliseum is still an amazing site. Strangely, although it could be
considered a source of embarrassment of the past, it has been come to known as
one of the ultimate icons of ancient Roman greatness. Location: the Piazza del
Colosseo, Via dei Fori Imperiali, Rome

Vatican City – This tiny country is perhaps one of the most remarkable
aspects of Rome. Vatican City is the heart of Catholicism, both spiritually and
politically. St. Peter himself was crucified on this spot, and St. Peter’s basilica was
built directly above the ancient hill. Both the Basilica and St. Peter’s square are still
studied today in architecture and art history classes. You can wander the Vatican
Museums for days, including a visit to the Sistine Chapel, to see some of the true
masterpieces of Roman art. Location: Entry through Saint Peter’s Square, Rome

Il Duomo (The Cathedral of Santa Maria Dei Fiori) – Il Duomo is considered
by many to be the grandest achievement in Renaissance architecture. The octagonal
dome, originally designed by Brunelleschi was the largest in the world when built.
Since then, Il Duomo , which took nearly six centuries to complete, has become
Florence’s symbol. Climb the 414 steps of the bell tower, and Renaissance Florence
will be laid before you. Location: Piazza del Duomo, Florence.

Piazza San Marco – Piazza San Marco is still studied today by architects
and urban planners as one of the most beautiful and successful public squares. The
square is surrounded by cafes, shops, and of course the Campanile and St. Peter’s
Basilica. Visitors and locals alike sip espresso in its cafes, meet to talk, and climb
the Campanile to see an amazing view of Venice. Location: Piazza San Marco, with
the Basilica at the wider end, Venice.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection – In a city world reknown for its
ancient art and architecture, the Guggenheim Collection houses one of the greatest
collections of modern art. her collection includes works by Pollack, Picasso, Klee,
Rothko, Chagall, Mondrian, and more. There is also a gorgeous sculpture garden
housing even more works. Location: Calle Venice dei Leoni, Dorsoduro, Venice.

The Brion Vega Cemetery – The Brion Vega is considered one of Carlo
Scarpa’s masterpieces. Scarpa was and still is often considered the premier modern
Italian architect. The memorial is a great concrete and landscaped form if rectilinear,
stepping, and sculptural concrete elements. It is an amazing pilgrimage for the
architecture buff. Location: San Vito d’Altivole.

You can wander Italy for ages and never take in all of the art and architecture. Still,
the sites listed above are some of the must sees for lovers of art, architecture, and
travel. Open your eyes and see the Italian design that has been around for centuries,
and that which continues to flourish today.

First Time Home Buyer Sells the Starter Home

It’s possible. Your first home could be your dream home. But, for most folks, the first home is a starter home. Starter home implies that you are not going to spend the rest of your life in that home. It implies that you plan on selling that home, probably sooner than later, and buying another home. Perhaps, bigger, more expensive, and with a larger back yard. And guess what? You are going to want to sell that starter home for a much as you can. So, where am I leading you, where is this road going?

Let me start with a few overused, but true, expressions. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Not everyone has the same taste in decorating as you do. That last one is a real shock, huh!

Neutral is a good thing in starter homes. Neutral doesn’t offend a buyer coming through the front door the first time. Neutral doesn’t scare a buyer. Neutral doesn’t have to be changed because someone else can’t stomach it. Neutral sells because it is safe. Let’s say buyer x likes blue and buyer y likes yellow and buyer z likes green and your living room is blaze orange with magenta moldings because that’s what you like. You might have a “first impression” problem! Now before you protest, read on…

You’re about to say that, even though you are not going to live in this starter home forever, you still want it to be you and not 40 shades of white. After all, it is your home. Now, after you move in, you’re going to clean up, fix up and, most likely, do some remodeling. These are the things that will make it feel like your home and add to the re-sale value.

But, let’s do some common sense compromising. Let’s keep all the moldings neutral. Let’s also keep the floorings, counter tops, vanities and fixtures neutral. Use restraint, too, if you wallpaper. These are things not easily or inexpensively replaced. Buyers look at that fact. Wall paint is a wild card. It can go either way. Some buyers don’t care what color the walls are. They don’t mind repainting. Other buyers look at the same walls and see work and/or expense.

We now have a vanilla house. It’s time to put your decorator hat on and start to add you to the house. A great place to begin is with window treatments. Not just with the texture, color or pattern, but with the actual design.

The possibilities are almost endless. Neutral walls can be brought to life with paintings, tapestries, or stylistic décor items. You are limited only by your imagination. Proper furniture can add not only color, but a dynamic and a depth from its very design. Neutral bathrooms can come alive with towels and shower treatments that are you! And lastly, lightening can strengthen and accent any room to maximize its overall appeal. Give much attention to lighting. It sells.

See, neutral isn’t bad all the time. Your starter house can look like you, feel like you, be you, and also be very appealing to a potential buyer that wants a “move-in” home. Make your house their house and it will sell faster and probably for more money. Everyone wins!
